2023 FINALIST Harden Art Prize

The Harden Art Prize is in its second year following a very successful inaugural event held in Harden Murrumburrah in May 2022.  The organisation responsible for the presentation of the event is Harden Art Prize Incorporated (a community committee) which evolved from an initiative of the Harden Murrumburrah Community Bank and the Geoffrey Kruger Trust (dual sponsors). The competition is intended to promote Harden-Murrumburrah to the arts community of Australia and to encourage visitors to view the exhibition of work by the finalists. The exhibition is staged in Autumn which is a glorious time to promote visitation to the area and boost the economy of a small rural community.  The Art Prize promotes cultural awareness in the district and will grow a quality art collection over the coming years contributing to the expansion and development of the arts scene in Australia. Sally is proud to announce her painting “North Paddock – Plein Air”, 90x120cm, oil on canvas, has been named as a FINALIST for 2023.
