After the success of the inaugural MAP Portrait Prize held in 2022 the biennial MAP Portrait Prize returns to Mudgee Arts Precinct this November. Receiving over 400 entries in 2022 and 84 finalists exhibited, almost half the finalists came from within the Mid-Western Region, representative of the high calibre of artistic talent found in our local community. Furthermore, over 1200 people visited the gallery across its three-month exhibition period, making it one of Mudgee Arts Precinct’s most popular exhibitions.
