History:

  • 1971 Born in West Wyalong, Central NSW. Raised on a farm.
  • 1983-1989 Attended boarding school in Sydney’s East.
  • 1989 HSC – Finished School.
  • 1990 – 1991 Worked full-time as a legal secretary after completing a secretarial course.
    Undertook drawing and painting training at Eastern Suburbs evening college.
  • 1992 Went backpacking through Europe for 12 months, using Florence, Italy as a base, where I also studied at the University.
    Gained inspiration and knowledge for further reference.
  • 1993 Began studies for a Bachelor of Visual Communications at KVB College of Visual Communications in North Sydney.
    Sold my first painting at the Gould Street Gallery in Bondi.
    Did charcoal portraits for tourists at Circular Quay.
  • 1995 Completed Degree
  • 1996 Travelled throughout Asia and eventually moved to Ireland for a year.
    Worked in graphic design, continued to produce and sell artwork.
    Also did portraits.
  • 1997 Lived and worked on my family’s property, “Belleforest”, Ungarie in central NSW.
    Began research for my first major solo exhibition The Journey.
  • 1998 Moved to Bondi, worked part-time at Wadi Gallery doing framing and began exhibiting in group exhibitions.
    Starting selling artwork at the Bondi Markets.
    Had my first major solo exhibition at The Bondi Pavillion in Bondi (The Journey).
  • 1999 Travelled through India and Nepal, meeting many artists along the way. Gained lots of inspiration.
    Had another major solo exhibition
  • 2000 Moved to Berry, South coast of NSW.
    Continued painting and exhibiting in Sydney, Melbourne and Berry.
  • 2002 Got married and moved to Blueys Beach on the Mid-North coast of NSW.
    Travelled to Vietnam studying the artwork and gaining inspiration.
  • 2003 Gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
  • 2006 Gave birth to another beautiful baby girl.
  • 2007 Participated in my first exhibition in New York.
  • 2008 Had my first solo exhibition in Melbourne.
    Also exhibited in Italy for the first time.
  • 2009 Exhibited in Germany for the first time.
    Signed a 3 year contract with a new gallery in New York, The Contemporary Art Network.
    Exhibited in London and Paris also for the first time.
  • 2011 First solo exhibition in New York.
  • 2012 2nd solo exhibition in New York.
  • 2013 Moved back to Sydney after 11 years at Blueys Beach.
  • 2013 3rd solo exhibition in New York.
