2022 FINALIST Percival Portrait Painting Prize

Sally is happy to announce that her portrait of daughters, Arabella and Pascaal, titled “My Girls”, 100x200cm, oil on canvas, has been selected as a finalist in this years Percival Portrait Painting Prize. Having begun in 2007, The Percivals is an open competition for artists. While showcasing the outstanding and innovative work currently being produced by Australian artists, the competitions have also given many emerging artists an opportunity to engage with portraiture and share their expressions of themselves and those close to them. 2021 FINALIST Bluethumb Art Prize

The Bluethumb Art Prize 2021 is bigger and better than ever. With $50,000 of cash prizes, double the overall winner’s prize money – $20,000 to be precise – and more opportunities for artists to cement their place in Australia’s art consciousness, this is the art prize to take artists’ careers to the next level. From 6500 entries across Australia, just 400 finalists were selected for the 2021 Bluethumb Art Prize. Sally’s work “Oberon – Plein Air”, 100x150cm, oil on canvas, has been selected for this year.

2021 FINALIST Blacktown City Art Prize

Now in its 26th year of the Blacktown City Art Prize. It is a highly valued art prize that offers $20,000 worth of prizes. This annual exhibition has built a reputation for showcasing the creativity of the region and elevating the profiles and careers of the finalists. 2021 FINALIST Fisher’s Ghost Art Prize

The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award is an annual art prize inviting artists to submit works in a variety of artistic categories and mediums. Now in its 59th year, with a total of $38,000 in prize money to be won. The Open section is acquisitive to the Campbelltown City Council collection and is valued at $25,000. Sally is delighted to announce that her painting “Big Red”, 120x150cm, oil on canvas, has been selected as a finalist.

The Mission to Seafarers’ MSC Maritime Art Prize & Exhibition is an international competition that has been hosted at the heritage-listed Mission building in Melbourne’s Docklands for nineteen years and is returning once again in 2021. With a first prize of $20 000, the Lethbridge Art Award is open to national and international artists for small-scale artworks. Entrants may submit 2D or 3D artworks up to 61cm (24 inches) in height, width or depth. The Judging is based on three equally evaluated criteria of creativity, originality and skill. 2021 Salon Des Refuses, Lethbridge Landscape Art Prize

Lethbridge Gallery believes in the power of art to understand, interpret, and explore the place we live. They wish to establish the Landscape Prize to celebrate and develop this important genre.
