2019 FINALIST ANL Maritime Art Prize

The MtSV Annual Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition is an international competition hosted at the Mission to Seafarers in Docklands, Melbourne. The Exhibition will be open for public viewing from 4th October to 20th October 2019, 10am to 8pm daily. Sally is thrilled to have her painting “The Fisherman – Plein Air”, 90x135cm, oil on canvas, selected as a FINALIST in the 2019 Art Prize.

2019 FINALIST Mosman Art Prize

Established in 1947, the Mosman Art Prize is Australia’s oldest and most prestigious local government art award. It was founded by the artist, architect and arts advocate, Alderman Allan Gamble, at a time when only a small handful of art prizes were in existence in Australia and the community had very little support and few opportunities to exhibit their work. Sally is delighted to be announced as a FINALIST for 2019 with her work “Manly Ferry”, 120x150cm, oil on canvas. 2019 FINALIST Northern Beaches Art Prize

The annual Northern Beaches Art Prize (formerly Warringah Art Prize) began in 1955. Since then, it has become the Northern Beaches’ most prestigious art competition. Sally is pleased to announce that her painting “The Palm Trees”, 100x100cm, oil on canvas, has been selected as a FINALIST in the 2019 Art Prize exhibition. 2019 FINALIST Hunters Hill Art Prize

Sally is proud to announce that she has had both her entries selected as FINALIST works in the 2019 Hunters Hill Art Prize. The Hunters Hill Art Exhibition is one of Sydney’s favourite art events with thousands of visitors annually. 2019 FINALIST John Villiers Outback Art Prize

The Greenway Art Prize celebrates the precious urban green corridor in Sydney’s Inner West and aims to capture the essence of the GreenWay through visual art. Works are selected on the basis of artistic merit and relevance to the GreenWay themes of the urban environment, community connections and/or sustainable transport. 2018 FINALIST Fishers Ghost Art Award

The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award coincides with Campbelltown’s annual Festival of Fisher’s Ghost. Held over 10 days, the Festival dates back to 1956 and celebrates Australia’s most famous ghost – Frederick Fisher. The Open section of the Art Award is acquisitive to the C-A-C permanent collection and is awarded prize-money of $20,000. In the past it has been awarded to some of Australia’s most respected Contemporary artists including Elisabeth Cummings, Khaled Sabsabi, Justene Williams, David Bromley, Marion Borgelt, Raquel Ormella and Philip Wolfhagen. Sally is pleased to announce that her painting “Everyone Has A Dark Side And There Is No Escape”, 120x150cm, oil on canvas, has been selected as  FINALIST for 2018.

FINALIST 2018 Mission To Seafarers ANL Maritime Art Prize

The ANL Maritime Art Prize aims to raise awareness of the experience of 1.5 million merchant seafarers responsible for transporting more than 90 per cent of trade to Australia.  The Maritime Art Prize is the major fundraising event at MtSV, contributing to the provision of welfare services to seafarers.
